Yazzmin was born in London and has had a passion for performing since a young age. A precocious child, she displayed a natural talent for music and dance in her formative years. She went on to obtain a degree in music and become a professional, award winning Samba dancer, being invited to perform all over the world in exotic locations such as the Maldives and Brazil. However, Yazzmin’s true passion has always been with Acting. She then made a bold move and decided to reinvent herself. She started taking evening acting classes at the Giles Foreman Centre for Acting. Here, she rediscovered herself and found what really made her happy. After shining in some short films, Yazzmin decided she wanted to take acting more seriously and applied to the renowned Royal Central School of Speech and Drama - She was accepted. Yazzmin is recently graduated from her MA in Acting for Screen and her most recent projects include, ‘The Last Tree’ directed by Shola Amoo and a guest lead in the BBC show Doctors.
